2.1 Camera Data
- What: When you use the camera feature, WanderAI accesses your device’s camera to capture images of landmarks and locations.
- How it’s used: Images are sent to Google’s Gemini API for real-time AI analysis to identify and provide information about what you’re photographing.
- Storage: Images are NOT stored on our servers. They are processed in real-time and deleted immediately after analysis.
- Your control: You control when the camera is used. The app requests camera permission before accessing it.
2.2 Photos in Your Gallery
- What: When you save photos with the “Photo” button, the image is stored directly in your device’s native photo gallery.
- How it’s stored: Photos are saved only on your device. They are never uploaded to WanderAI servers.
- Your control: You can delete photos from your gallery at any time.
2.3 Location Data
- What: The app may request your location to provide context about nearby landmarks.
- How it’s used: Location data is used only to enhance the tour guide experience with location-specific information.
- Storage: Location data is not stored on our servers. It’s processed locally on your device.
- Your control: You control location permissions through your device’s settings.
2.4 User Preferences
- What: Your interests (history, architecture, art, nightlife, food) are stored locally on your device.
- How it’s stored: Preferences are saved only on your device using local storage.
- Your control: You can modify or reset preferences in the app’s settings.
2.5 Subscription Data
- What: If you purchase a subscription, payment and subscription information is handled by RevenueCat.
- How it’s used: To manage your subscription status and access levels.
- Storage: RevenueCat handles all payment data. WanderAI does not store payment information.

- Payment Processing: All payment data is encrypted and processed securely

We implement industry-standard security measures:
- All data transmitted to third-party APIs uses HTTPS encryption

- Your photos remain only on your device

Limitation: No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.
6. Children’s Privacy
WanderAI is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will delete such information immediately.

- Camera Images: Not stored (deleted immediately after processing)
- Photos: Stored on your device; you can delete anytime
